In September 2022 Change Your Self organised YE called ROOTS. During the youth exchange, 26 participants from Slovakia, Armenia, Latvia and the Russian Federation had a chance to rediscover their own true selves. Over a week of non-formal activities, participants rediscovered their connection to nature, culture and themselves. From 14 to 22 October, the youth conference “CRITICAL THINKING – HEALTHY FOOD FOR YOUR MIND”, funded by the European Commission ERASMUS+, took place in Varlas Plage (France). The project involved young people from six countries: France, Russia, Latvia, Belarus, Poland and Ukraine. Read more »

RYPO “OPORA” is the only one in the Republic of Mari El accredited organisation for the European Solidarity Corps volunteering programme, which enables us to accept European volunteers and send young people from Mari El to Europe.
From 1 to 6 September, a meeting was held in Weimar (Germany) with German partners who send their volunteers to our organisation. Read more »

On the 9th of November the time had finally come! We, the new volunteers, started the trip to our on-arrival-training in Vladimir. On our way, we had some time to visit the cities of Kazan and Moscow, before finally arriving on the 3th of November to our destination – the ancient capital of the region Vladimir Oblast – Vladimir! For some reasons that I still do not understand, I was dreaming of a longer stay in Russia for some years. Thanks to ERASMUS+, I had the possibility to take part in the EVS program in Yoshkar-Ola making my dream come true!
Our volunteer Sara Jankovzki has taken part in the Mid-Term Meeting (MTM), a training for EVS volunteers in Russia to meet each other and reflect together on their experience. The MTM took place on 21st-23rd June in the small city of Rostov Veliky in the region of Yaroslav, about 200 km north of Moscow.
For two months, Nastya, Ksenya, Karina and Veronika have been involved in their European Volunteer Service (EVS, in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme) in three European countries. Let’s get to know more about their projects and what their lives look like.
